Subject: RE: Airport Board
Dear City of Kalispell,
I would be interested in an appointment for the Airport Board.
I have been in business in Kalispell and the area for over 40 years, own property in town and
have owned property adjacent to the airport. I am a veteran pilot with over 5500 hours.
I have operated around 15 different aircraft at City Airport, so I know the challenges which
present themselves to managing a community facility like 527.
I am a current Certified Flight Instructor and Commercial pilot in airplanes and rotorcraft
which allows me to bring not only expertise in aviation, but a foundation in the foremost
objective of any aviation program: safety .
I think I would bring good experience to the board and help forge the airport forward for
future generations.
Sincerely,
Frederick Weber

The purpose of my letter is to request your consideration for me to serve a
second term on the Kalispell City Airport Advisory Board. It is a pleasure to
work with our board president, Scott Richardson, and the other members of
the board. They, as well as our airport manager, Fred Leistiko, are dedicated
individuals who not only have a keen interest in the future of our airport, but
care about the future of Kalispell.
As a member of the board, I do not take the challenges that face us in making
sound recommendations to you and the City Council lightly. The Council has
many very important decisions to make regarding the airport, both now and in
the near future. The inputs to those decisions are "key" and we want to provide
you with our very best advice. Again, thanks for your consideration and,
hopefully, another chance to serve.
Respectfully,
Clifton p" Clark
