KALISPELL CITY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2012
The regular meeting of the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will be held on
Tuesday, February 14, 2012 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Kalispell City Council Chambers, Kalispell
City Hall, 201 1st Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana.
The Agenda for the meeting will be:
A. Call to Order and Roll Call
B. Approval of Minutes of November 29, 2011.
C. Hear the Public — The public may comment on any matter on the agenda or not on the agenda, except
the public hearing item listed immediately below. (Comments are typically held to 3 minutes or less.)
D. Public Hearing:
In addition, the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on
the following agenda item. Following the hearing and board discussion, the board may make its
recommendations to the Kalispell City Council for final action:
1. A request by the City of Kalispell to update the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance. As part of a continuing
effort to make the ordinance up-to-date and current with changes in state law, staff, in conjunction
with the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission, has compiled a short list of minor
amendments for review. The amendments include:
• Adding "Kennels, Animal Shelters" as an administrative conditional use in the B-2 (General
Business) zone;
• Amending the definition of "Dwelling, Townhouse"; and
• Amending the definition of "Automobile Sales and/or Repair."
