Civil Engineer P.J. Sorensen, Chairman Kathy Kuhlin, Recording Secretary GUESTS: James Freyholtz, MDT HEAR THE PUBLIC: None. PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Auto Zone is close to getting their C of O and will be bonding for landscaping, parking lot striping, and exterior painting on the building. Crowley asked if we can get their required hydro seeding in the drainage area included in the bond. He also asked about an asphalt patch in the alley that was originally put there by Northwestern Energy. They will be mailing in the bond information to the Building Dept. OLD BUSINESS: Spring Prairie Phase 3/Kohl's — Hwy 93 N — Nothing new to report. NEW BUSINESS: None. PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: The board will begin updating the Growth Policy in January, and that will be going on all year. There are no other items for their January agenda. OTHER REPORTS: Sorensen mentioned that Crevier's School of Cosmetology has purchased the old Western States Insurance Building on West Idaho, next to O'Reilly, and they will be coming in next week regarding an interior remodel. They are not proposing any changes on the outside, but we will need to talk about their parking spaces that are along the alley and along the street, because they are perpendicular to the building and are only 12 feet deep, which means they extend out into the public right-of-way. Freyholtz will address the MDT changes on Idaho next week that will affect this project. There will be a pre -bid conference today on the Stillwater Riverbank Stabilization Project at the golf course. Bids will be opened on the 17th. With the flooding last year, there was some significant erosion in a few spots. One area threated the golf course. They have approximately 750 linear feet to repair. This project is 75% funded by FEMA. The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
