A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2004-2005 BUDGET ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT TO
ASSIST NORTHWEST MONTANA HEAD START TO PARTIALLY FUND THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FACILITY.
WHEREAS, on August 16, 2004, the City Council adopted Resolution 4919 adopting; the
annual appropriations of the City of Kalispell for fiscal year 2004-2005; and
WHEREAS, on October 22, 2004, the City of Kalispell received a CDBG grant in the amount
of $500,000 in order to assist Northwest Montana Head Start to partially fund the
construction of a new facility; and
WHEREAS, said funds available to the City were not appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-
4271, and an increase of appropriation authority is needed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the City of Kalispell hereby appropriates the sum of $500,000 and
directs the Finance Director to allocate said amount to the following
program activities:
