A RESOLUTION CLASSIFYING CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AS PERMANENT PART-
TIME EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS. the Kalispell Personnel Policy designates various classifications of employees for
purposes of defining benefits and obligations; and
WHEREAS, the Kalispell Personnel Policy has never designated an employee classification for
City Council Members who are deemed, by all federal standards, to be employees of
the City; and
WHEREAS, the Kalispell City Council hereby makes the finding that the most appropriate
employee classification for City Council Members is as Permanent Part -Time
Employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION_I. Members of the Kalispell City Council shall henceforth be classified as
Permanent Part -Tune Employees of the City and shall receive all the same
benefits and be subject to all the same obligations of all other Permanent
Part -Time Employees of the City.
