A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2003-2004 BUDGET ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE MONTANA
CULTURAL ARTS GRANT.
WHEREAS, the annual appropriation for the Cultural Arts Grants Fund are state grants
sponsored by the City and received subsequent to the adoption of the Fiscal 2004
budget, and
WHEREAS, the source of the funds is the Montana Cultural Trust, Montana Arts Council
Grant 41076,
WHEREAS, the recipient of the Grant is the Northwest Montana Historical Society for an
operational grant for the Central School Museum, and
WHEREAS, $7,500 additional budget authority is needed to pass through the funds to the
Museum, and
WHEREAS, said funds available to the City were not appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-
4271, and an increase of appropriation authority is needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That on March 16, 2004 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council
authorizes and directs the Finance Director to increase the
appropriation for Fund 2927, the Cultural Arts Grant, to $7,500.

THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 16TH DAY OF MARCH, 2004.
