RE: Auto StipendWhen I started as an employee of the City of Kalispell, the City had more remote offices than currently. Below are the listings of locations I support. I carry equipment to remote locations which I bring in a vehicle if I cannot use the cart to carry it. Previously Remote Offices now in City Hall Community Development Building Department Planning Department Parks & Rec Remote Offices Supported by City IT Currently Airport City Shops Fire Station 62 Waste Water Treatment Plant Lift Stations or springs (Buffalo Hill & Noffsinger both have PCs and DSL) Woodland Park Pool & Hockey Center (PCs, DSL, & Security Cameras) Parking Commission I take my car when I do any local purchasing. I replace batteries for the battery backups at Standard Batteries on LaSalle in Evergreen. I have found a substantial cost savings is generated from not paying shipping costs on the heavy batteries. Not all batteries are stocked locally. I do purchase needed spare parts locally when I can find them at the local PC stores. All stores are in Kalispell or Evergreen. I also take my car to any meetings out of the office I attend which are not very frequent.
