Hi Charlie:
Last week you asked that I contact Jim Moore to try cajole him into working more cooperatively with Roger Noble and Montana DEQ. I spoke with Roger recently about the matter. I discussed
his letter with him and what, if anything, he knew regarding Talmage's mindset regarding the fuel spill. Based on my conversation with Roger and what I understand to be the City's
position in this matter, I have drafted the attached letter.
If you have time, could you take a look to make sure I am on the right track as far as what the administration and Fred are seeking in this matter? I would also be interested in knowing
whether the letter sets the right "tone" from the City or whether it is to "milquetoast." Any suggestions you could offer would be welcome. Thanks.
