RE: Airport ClosingTim:
If you are coming into the area on a commercial flight, yes GPI is shut
down several times during this summer season. If you are flying into
the area in a private aircraft, the Kalispell City Airport will be open.
The closest commercial airport is Missoula, Montana about a 120 mile
trip due south of Kalispell. A very scenic drive on Highway 93. You
could also fly into Calgary, AB, Canada and rent a car and drive south
through Glacier Park and into Montana.

We were just told by Alaska Airlines that the Kalispell Airport is
closed from August 23rd to August 28th. Is this true?. If this is in
fact the case, where would you suggest we fly into on the 26th of August
?
