RE: KGEZ Tower Lights (2)Fred, Sorry for the long delay, have been working out of the office a lot, and have had to take some time off. Are you asking about a personal license (Commercial Radio License i.e., Restricted Operators Permit or General Radiotelephone Operators Permit) or are you talking about his station license for KGEZ? If you are asking about his personal license, that would have no impact. If the IRS or MDR attach the station, I suppose they could force a sale and he would have to transfer ownership/control to the buyer and the buyer would have to apply for a new license. But there could be other scenarios, an attorney at the Media Bureau could tell you more, but would probably need additional information. He claimed in the bankruptcy hearings that he has not paid Federal or State taxes since 1988. The IRS has filed a motion to liquidate his holdings. Does this have any effect on his holding an FCC license to broadcast? Could you give me a reference to go to. Fred A. Leistiko Airport Manager City of Kalispell P.O.
