City sponsored Q & A on the Airport.Jane:
Would it be appropriate for the City Airport to now have a public
meeting to answer questions about the airport development? I would
schedule it for late in November and have a panel of "experts" to answer
questions. I would ask the FAA to send me a couple people, the Dept. of
Transportation has already volunteered to come up, the head of State
Aeronautics has volunteered to come up, and I have an aviation attorney
and accident investigator who would love to serve on a panel. Also, the
teacher at the High School who teaches aviation and has an aviation
club, Chuck Manning, would most likely sit on the panel. Then I have
FAA Instructors and check pilots and maybe a safety officer. AOPA would
most likely send a representative also.
