Montana is unique among the 50 states: it's the only state with
statutory law governing wrongful discharge. Here's your chance to get
familiar with the law and how it has been applied.
The Professional Development Center will present Montana's Wrongful
Discharge Act on February 25 in Kalispell. This half-day seminar can
benefit all managers and employers. It also carries 3.0 CLE credits for
attorneys.

MONTANA'S WRONGFUL DISCHARGE ACT

The Montana Legislature uniquely addressed a major area of law - it
passed the Wrongful Discharge from Employment Act. The Act balances the
rights of employers with protection for employees. It imposes important
responsibilities on both parties. This course is appropriate for anyone
who wants to learn about the Montana statutes and important case law
interpreting them.
