New MPA Website Functions New features have been added to enhance your MPA board member or hangar officer pleasure! Geanette already alluded to the new Print Roster function. Besides being an immediate view of "who is" and "who was" (via the "Show Expired" option) an MPA member, you can also use its "Filter" functions to produce meaningful searches. oOne example is to set the inital search field to Hangar Officer, then the Filter to Non-Blank and you will see the list of anybody that is a Hangar Officer. You can also do such things as Sort By Email Address - Ascending and those with no e-mail addresses in their personal Roster record will appear at the top. Having problems with MPA members that use AOL.com? Just set Email Address -> Must Contain -> aol.com and you will know who to call. Sorting by city ot state is similarly handy. You can also list by aircraft make/model/n-number. So, how exactly am I sending this to you? Nicely formatted, with bold, color and (a Colorado mountain wave) attachment? I am using the Email To Officers feature which is only viewable to MPA and hangar officers. The simple editor allows full formatting and one attachment. You can change font face, size and colors. You simply select which hangar is to receive your message and the online roster values are used to send as needed. MPA Board members will receive all. No need to keep your own "private list" as long as MPA secretary keeps the website roster values updated. A similar feature is now in place for regular MPA members to select "By Hangar" or "By Airport" to receive messages. Hope you enjoy your new website. - Dunc This was sent by the Montana Pilot Association website "E-mail members by hangar" function
