From: Janet Mackin [mailto:jmackin@mmia.net] Sent: Thursday, March 04, 2010 10:15 AM To: Denise Michel Subject: RE: Fred Leistiko Denise - We have had a lot of this lately - the reason is - Medicare is really cracking down on medicare fraud. I will contact Delta Dental and see what they need - you are correct, as an active City Employee - Delta Dental pays primary. Thanks. From: Denise Michel [mailto:dmichel@kalispell.com] Sent: Thursday, March 04, 2010 10:13 AM To: Debbie Vonada; Janet Mackin Subject: Fred Leistiko Fred went to his dentist (Dr. Steve Johnson) and when they submitted the bill to Delta Dental, they would not pay because they aren't sure that his MMIA insurance is primary. What can we do about this situation. Fred does have other insurance (military and is Medicare eligible), but I thought as long as he was an active City employee our insurance was primary. Please let me know how to proceed with this issue. Thanks, Denise
