Airport Advisory CouncilJane:
Scott Richardson, Chairman of the Airport Advisory Council told me he
wanted to set up a special meeting of the Advisory Council to discuss
what they wanted to send to the Mayor and City Council after the Mayor
asked the Council if they were going to send the City Council a report
of their recommendations. I reminded Scott that the Airport Advisory
Council was a function of the City Manager's office to advise the CM and
the Airport Manager, not the Mayor and City Council. I asked him to
make sure anything they proposed to send to the Mayor and City Council
come through the City Manager and/or the Airport Manager first. I will
keep you informed of the Advisory Council's decision and request a draft
of their recommendations come through your office.
