Good Morning Jane:
Thank you very much for including me in the meeting yesterday. I really
appreciate it and hope I was able to provide some insight into the world
of wastewater treatment.
I've attached a copy of the septage white paper which discusses some of
the issues involved in receiving septage. This information was
presented at the Council work session on December 22, 2008. Not
included in the white paper is the now permit required EPA pre-treatment
program. We have done the necessary testing of our current wastewater
and this is presently under review by EPA, but if we receive septage we
would need to examine it as well.
