I believe Gary is going to want the Amendment No. 1 also. This has the
scope of work and fee which he needs to support the grant offer. I
believe Jane will have to execute the Amendment also in order to get the
grant. As I indicated in my prior emails, we can add contingencies to
the Amendment that require Council approval and grant acceptance to
fully execute the Agreement.
Lets discuss this on Tuesday. Have a great 4th.

Jeff:
Jane and I discussed this issue of a signed agreement between the City
and Stelling. Next week I am going to ask the City Clerk to go back
through the council minutes and get the date the council approved
Stelling as our engineer of record so we can have Jane sign the basic
contract between us. If we don’t have the documentation we need, we
will have to put a Resolution before the council to sign the contract.
Sorry this has slipped through the cracks, if it has. I will let you
know ASAP next week.

Fred,
Could you and Jane discuss the issue with the signed agreement. Gary
indicated that he will need a signed Agreement with certifications and
the checklist in order to issue the grant. I suggested to Jane that we
add language to the agreement that it is contingent on receiving the FAA
grant and Council approval. We should get this taken care of early next
week.

We signed the grant and sent it out last Friday. If we don’t get a
response from Gary to take to the Council by this Thursday, July 1st, we
will have to hold off until the next Council meeting on July 19th to get
their go ahead. That is because the packet to the council members goes
out on Thursdays the week prior to the meeting.

Kalispell City Airport. Please print out a copy and sign the front page
as well as the several of the certification pages towards the end of the
document. I have typed in your name on all the signature pages so it
should be fairly straight forward identifying the places to sign. Once
signed, you may use the attached transmittal letter to forward the
original signed application to the FAA for processing.
