TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE TRANSPORTATION COMMISSIONERS,
I would like to extend an invitation to each one of you to attend the
Fall Conference of the Montana Community Airport Association in
Lewistown September 10-11. We have been working at this project of
bringing the Community airports in Montana together twice each year to
update their management shills and create an opportunity to exchange
ideas of better ways to deal with the many issues that face these
Community airports.
The attached agenda explains our program this year at Lewistown. I
would like to have you stop by and see our program and it would give me
an opportunity to explain to you why we are having two half day sessions
along with other things we are doing to try to accommodate the Community
Airports. There are 120 airports in Montana and 80 of those airports
do not belong to any organization. We think we can bring these
important transportation ports together and provide them with some very
valuable tools to meet their challenges.
I apologize for the short notice. The Chokecherry Festival is on in
Lewistown that week-end and should also be of considerable interest.
