Maintenance on Main Runway at Kalispell City AirportWade:
Jane and I have discussed doing a temporary crack seal on the main
runway of the City Airport. By doing this we hope to prolong the life
of the runway for another three years. I have asked Stelling to give me
some spec's to get out to the vendors who do this work. I am hoping
this could be done for something less than $25,000.
Jane told me that you might want to run this by some capital committee
you are working with to explain that the funds are for O & M and not
TIF. We would use funds in our Construction in Progress line item #
5160-430-430310-950 which has a balance of $115,470. This is our
holding account for maintenance on the airport.
