When I talked with you regarding interview dates around the 11th of December, that was only a guess on my part as to when interviews and nothing formally had been scheduled. This, because
of the timing with the holidays and persons normally off during that time which ended up not being the case as all the applications were screened.
We had many good candidates apply for this position and it is always difficult to pick those to interview. The individual we hired holds a Undergraduate degree in Economics and a Masters
degree in Public Administration. While there was to be some work with the airport, the majority of the position was related to working with the City Manager and Community & Economic
Director.

Hello Terry,
Regarding the Executive Assistant to the City Manager et al, when I dropped
off my application you had said that it would be close to mid January when the
committee would start interviewing. To hear that the position has been filled was quite
unexpected. In viewing the job description I was certain that I would be at least
interviewed as I fit the requirements perfectly, especially being able to assist the
city airport manager.
Please let me know the successful applicants background so I may see
where I came up so short on my experience that I was not even given the opportunity
to interview. Thank you.
