HEAR THE PUBLIC: None. PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Planning received the bond for Junegrass Apartments. Parks is waiting on the bond for the Woodland Apartments. OLD BUSINESS: Casa Mexico – 1600 US Hwy 93 S – TI expansion/parking lot – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS: EAA Training Facility – 1825 Airport Rd – new training facility at City Airport – Planning advised Robert Smith that due to FAA regulations and City ordinances, that the planned building location will need to be moved
outside of the Runway Protection Zone and that a condition use permit would likely be required for parking. The committee also discussed moving the approach and installing a meter pit in the Airport Road right of way. Planning will email Ordinance 1745 to Robert. This will be on the agenda next week.
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS - Griggs Hangar – new airport hangar – The committee discussed distances between buildings, hydrants, and bathroom facilities with Robert Smith.
