Resolution 4757 - Budget Amendment - SID 343RESOLUTION NO.4757
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2002-03 BUDGET
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR DEBT SERVICE PAYMENTS FOR SID 343.
WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2003 fiscal year,
certain detailed and itemized estimates of revenue have proven inaccurate
in the operation of the said Fund for the 2003 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, funds available due to the completion of construction have been
transferred to the debt service fund from the construction fund as required
by the bond ordinance, and
WHEREAS, funds available are required to be used to call bonds, and
WHEREAS, $85,000 additional bonds can be called, and
WHEREAS, said funds available to the City were not appropriated pursuant to Section
7-6-4271, and calling additional bonds constitutes an overall increase in
appropriation authority, and
WHEREAS, with the appropriate expenditure line item for SID 343 debt service fund is
3643-000-490300-610.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That on December 2, 2002 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council
authorizes and directs the finance director to increase the appropriation for debt
service for SID 343 and to call $85,000 bonds.
