INVITATION TO BID
The City of Kalispell, Montana
will receive bids for the Conrad
Mansion Roof Replacement. The
impetus of this project is to re-
place the roofing and associated
appurtenances on the historic
building which were damaged by
hail with like materials, matching
the historic nature and character
of the original construction, but
also installing components in
compliance with current building
codes. The project includes
furnishing all labor, materials and
equipment required to remove
and dispose of the existing cedar
shingle roof and installing a new
cedar shingle roof to current
building codes. Also included in
the project are other miscella-
neous items including sheathing;
roofing felt, ice and water barrier,
ventilation, exhaust, and piping
penetrations; flashing, drip edge,
custom skylight, and restoration
of the building and landscaping
if damaged during construction.
The original shingles were taper
sawn cedar shingles and will
need to be replaced with taper
sawn #1 blue label cedar shin-
gles. Standard cedar shakes will
not be considered an equivalent
material.

plans and specifications may be
examined beginning Sunday,
February 5, 2023 is located on
the City of Kalispell website

asox. The City will be only
accepting online electronic bids
through QuestCDN. A Pre -Bid
Meeting will be held in the First
Floor Conference Room, 201
1st Ave East, Kalispell, Montana
59901 at 2:00pm on Thursday,
February 16, 2023. Interested
Bidders are encouraged to
attend the Pre -Bid Meeting. Bids
will be received by QuestCDN
until 2:00 PM On Thursday,
February 23, 2023. All bids will
be publicly opened and read
aloud in the City Hall First Floor
Conference Room, 201 1st Ave.
East, Kalispell 59901.
