OLD BUSINESS:
The Harper/Jiffy Lube- 1280/1290 Highway 2 W; new 40-unit multifamily development/Lube Center –
Planning advised that they will be receiving a floodplain permit application soon. Public Works completed their
review for The Harper. Pre-Treatment has comments out for Jiffy Lube. Commercial Plan Review has comments
out since July. This will be on the agenda next week.
Parkland Meadows (Lots 5&7 - Bldgs A thru E & Lift Station) – Airport Rd; new multifamily apartment
buildings – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
NW MT Head Start – 79 7th Ave EN; addition – Planning is still waiting on the trail connection details and
landscape drawings. This will be on the agenda next week.
Creekside Commons – Glenwood Dr; new apartment building – Public Works and Pre-Treatment are still waiting
on response to their comments. Building will forward new plans with the water booster pump removed to Public
Works for review and approval. Public Works is working on establishing a policy for booster pumps and will post
online in the future. This will be on the agenda next week.
Laird Noller Truck & RV – 3178 Hwy 93 S; new truck & RV service center – Public Works is still waiting on
revised plans. This will be on the agenda next week.
Gateway Mall Parking Lot – 1203 Hwy 2 W – parking lot remodel – Public Works and Parks are still waiting
on information on existing backflow. This will be on the agenda next week.
Logan ED Parking Lot – 310 Sunnyview Lane – parking lot remodel – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda
next week.
Office remodel – 417 E Idaho – MDT notified Planning via email that they have not yet received a permit
submittal. This will be on the agenda next week.
LC Staffing – 620 Treeline Rd – new office building – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
Six40 Lofts – 640 E Idaho St – hotel renovation to apartments – Public Works still has this in the review queue.
Commercial Plan Review is in progress. This will be on the agenda next week.
Kalispell Tank & Well Project – 1110 N Main St/3221 Hwy 93 N/850 Four Mile Dr – Commercial Plan Review
advised Public Works that the plans are missing stamps and signature, structural and foundation specifications,
and details. Public Works will send geo-tech to Commercial Plan Review. Site work and foundation to begin Fall
of 2023. Construction will begin in Fall 2024. This will be on the agenda next week.
Parkline Towers – 820 E Idaho – 2 new multi-family apartment buildings – Public Works has civils in their
queue. Planning had questions regarding the storm drain outlet and stated that it needs to look natural since it’s
along the trail. Public Works will review and work with them to make the connection look natural. This will be
on the agenda next week.
Tooth Booth – 455 Cascade Loop - new dental office – Public Works has comments out; Jackola will respond
today and send irrigation plans. Commercial Plan Review is almost complete. Connection to the existing meter
pit was discussed. This will be on the agenda next week.
All Creatures – 325 Jefferson Blvd – new veterinary clinic – Public Works has plans in review. Planning advised
that a new site plan with property lines shown has not been received. This will be on the agenda next week.
North Annex (Old Fairbridge) – 1701 Hwy 93 S – remodel hotel to apartments – Public Works has not received
civils. Planning advised the committee that this phase of the project includes sidewalks to 3rd and Hwy 93 and that
improvements are prorated. The civils should include these improvements. This will be on the agenda next week.
Meadows Edge Lift Station – NHN Morning Eagle Dr – new lift station – Public Works is meeting with MDT
soon regarding the Phase 3 approach. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS - Lorens Auto – 1306 Hwy 2 W – auto repair shop – Jackola presented plans
for an addition and advised Commercial Plan Review that the building is already sprinkled. Planning advised that
the north side parking lot will need to be restriped with 90º lines. Planning confirmed the location is not located
in a floodplain. Public Works advised that pre-treatment comments will be forthcoming.
