Department will require the hayshed to be secured, near a water supply, and be a considerable distance from
exposures. The only zoning issue will be the paving requirements. This will be on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS: - All Creatures Veterinary Clinic – Public Works will require the trash
enclosure to be moved closer to the street if they want to use City Garbage Service. Brandon from RPA had several
engineering questions regarding hydrant flow rates, plumbing codes, parking stall width, and a connection from
the building to the sidewalk. Building stated that the east wall will need to be fire rated. Brandon advised he was
aware of this. No stormwater treatment or storage will be required. Public Works will approve if they are under
80% impervious. They expect to be ready to submit revised site plan this month.
PRELIMINARY COMMENTS: - Flathead Food Bank – Jordan from Morrison Maierle presented preliminary
plans that show updated parking spaces and relocated trash enclosure/compactor. The net change is 2 less parking
spaces on the Food Bank property. Per Planning, the adjacent Creekside Commons on the north side is losing
parking spots as well and that the parking calculations will be difficult. Public Works will require the curb cut to
be to their standards. Parks will require additional landscaping and advised them that rock is not acceptable. Plan
Review suggested shifting the accessible parking spots down a couple of spaces. Public Works will follow up and
advise on storm water treatment.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:37 AM.
