PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS:
Kalispell North Town Center Ph 3 - N of Reserve & E of Hwy 93; Infrastructure, excavation, curb,
gutter, see bond (SIA Expiration 11/30/21; Subdivision Bond)
OLD BUSINESS:
Kalispell Tap and Games - 2400 Hwy 93 S: remodel to arcade/tap house – Parking updates received.
Gate will be removed. MDT sent comments to engineer that they will take 200ft of their property for
stormwater. This will be on the agenda next week.
Owl View Ph 2 Building 2 - 210 Sawyer Ln; new apartment building – Nothing new. This will be on the
agenda next week.
Penco - 2310 Hwy 93 S; building addition. Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next week.
Northwestern Energy – 890 N Meridian; shop addition to existing building. Nothing new. This will be
on the agenda next week.
Black Kaiju/Black Rifle Coffee – 305-313 2nd Ave W; new coffee shop, remodeled office, studio, and
residential apartment. Patrick received comments that they want their food trucks self-contained. Public
Works is still waiting on a construction storm water permit. This will be on the agenda next week.
3rd Ave East Apartments - 2015 3rd Ave E- 48-unit apartment complex – Updated plans received
regarding the back flow preventer, they changed the device and location. Parks needs to review the sign
proposed. The board discussed when to collect the cash-in-lieu of recreational amenities. This has passed
through site review.
The Silos - 501 W Center St; Apartment buildings A&B – Nothing new. This will be on the agenda next
week.
Flathead Liquor Addition - 1121 Hwy 2 W; 880 sq ft storage addition – Nothing new. This will be on
the agenda next week.
Clark Hyundai Addition - 2955 Hwy 93 S; additions to existing dealership – Nothing new. This will be
on the agenda next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
Preliminary Comments: SD5 Transportation Facility - 155 Schoolhouse Loop; SD5 transportation and
maintenance facility, bus parking – Rachel noted there appears to be some floodplain on the property and
it would be best to avoid putting the fence in that area. Parking spots and trash enclosure looks good.
Committee had no other comments.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: PJ updated committee on the 11/9/21 Planning Board meeting.
