Spring lot maintenance was discussed. The city has gone through and swept the city owned parking lots.
All lots were striped last July and are good until next spring.
Jarod Nygren and Katharine King attended the meeting to provide an update on the 3rd and Main
Development RFP. There has been a lot of interest and many ongoing discussions regarding the project.
At a minimum, parking must accommodate its own development. It may be on or offsite. Creative
construction will receive more points in the scoring process. The Request for Proposals was put out in
December. Proposals are due by July 9th, 2021. Interviews will start in July, with the contract being
awarded by the end of September. The project requires fast construction and may involve more than just
the 3rd and Main Lot.
After serving approximately 25 years on the Parking Advisory Board, Janet Clark submitted her
resignation, effective immediately.
