08/04/94 SP City Council Minutes0688- 683 A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE KALISPELL CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD AT 11:00 A.M. THURSDAY, AUGUST 4, 1994, IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT CITY HALL IN KALISPELL, MONTANA. MAYOR DOUG RAUTHE PRESIDED. COUNCILMEMBERS JIM ATKINSON, LAUREN GRANMO, BARBARA MOSES, DALE HAARR, DUANE LARSON, PAM KENNEDY, GARY NYSTUL, CLIFF COLLINS, AND CITY MANAGER BRUCE WILLIAMS WERE PRESENT. Mayor Rauthe called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance. ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS Resolution 4163-Fix Annual Appropriations FY 1994-95 Budget Haarr moved Resolution 4163, a resolution fixing the annual appropriations for the City of Kalispell, Montana, as set forth in the 1994-95 budget adopted by the City Council as amended in the amount of $15,614.871. The motion was seconded. By consensus it was agreed to contribute $10,000 to the Library for the roof repair from TIF and $5,000 to Eagle Transit from UDAG. Upon roll call vote the motion carried. Resolution 4164-Annual Tax Levies Moses moved Resolution 4164, a resolution making the annual tax levies for the City of Kalispell, Montana, for the Fiscal Year 1994-95. The motion was seconded. The motion carried with a roll call vote. Resolution 4165-Levying and Assessing 4.15 Mills-City/County Health Department Granmo moved Resolution 4165, a resolution levying and assessing 4.15 mills as the City's share of the cost of operating the Flathead City -County Health Department. The motion was seconded. The motion carried upon roll call vote. Resolution 4166-�vv_Assessment for Special Maintenance Atkinson moved Resolution 4166, a resolution levying an assessment for the cost of special maintenance for the purpose of maintaining the streets and avenues of the City of Kalispell for the fiscal year 1994-95. The motion was seconded. With a roll call vote the motion carried. Resolution 4167-Levy Assessment for Special Liahtina District Larson moved Resolution 4167, a resolution levying an assessment for the cost of lighting the streets and alleys in the City special lighting District for the Fiscal Year 1994-95. The motion was seconded. Upon roll call vote the motion carried. Resolution 4168-Levy Assessment for Decorative Lighting District Kennedy moved Resolution 4168, a resolution levying an assessment for the cost of light the streets in the City downtown decorative lighting district for the fiscal year 1994-95. The motion was seconded. The motion carried with a roll call vote. Resolution 4169-Levy Assessments for Storm Sewer Maintenance Nystul moved Resolution 4169, a resolution levying assessments for the cost of storm sewer maintenance for the fiscal year 1994-95. The motion was seconded. The motion carried upon a roll call vote. 06 8 '- 684 Resolution 4170-Levy Cost of Garbage Removal Collins moved Resolution 4170, a resolution to levy the cost of removal of garbage or other offensive matter from streets, alleys or on any premises as a special tax against property from which such matter was deposited, and the disposition thereof.
