09-17-20 Site Development Review Committee Minutes SITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE SUMMARY Thursday, September 17, 2020 First Floor Conference Room 201 First Avenue East ATTENDING: PJ Sorensen, Senior Planner Rachel Ezell, Chairman Rick Parker, Commercial Plans Reviewer Tom Tabler, Senior Civil Engineer Chad Fincher, Parks & Rec Director Dave Dedman, Fire Chief Tim Falkner, Admin Police Chief Jarod Nygren, Planning Director GUESTS: None HEAR THE PUBLIC: None PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: Apartments at 2 Mile – 70 Glenwood Dr; PIA date extended to 10/16/20 for as-builts and ROW dedications. OLD BUSINESS: Woodland Apartments- 23 Woodland Park; new multi-family. Owner met with city manager regarding ongoing issues. As of now the owner is planning on recording the SID himself, PJ has advised him that Public Works should review before he records it. Deed to dedicate ROW to Public Works is being worked on. This will be on the agenda next week. Great Indoors- Silverbrook; indoor play facility. Final Plat of lot scheduled for 09/21/20. Zoning has everything completed with exception of a small setback issue. Public Works and Parks are still under review. This will be on the agenda for next week. St. Matthew’s Phase 2- 601 S. Main; parking lot along 6th St & 1st Ave W. Public Works waiting on resubmittal. This will be on the agenda for next week. Stillwater Square- Address TBD (Silverbrook); apartment complex. Building permits have still not been applied for. Public Works is looking into the naming of individual parking lots and whether it will be allowed or not. This will be on the agenda for next week. Meridian Station Apartments - 41 Meridian Court; new apartment complex. Planning has comments out about a phasing plan and recreational amenities. Public Works and Parks have comments out. This will be on the agenda for next week. Peterson Elementary- 1119 2nd St W; parking lot repaving – Building Department has not received a building permit application. Public Works is still reviewing. This will be on the agenda for next week. The Cottages at Immanuel Lutheran – 165 Crestline Ave; 4 assisted living dwelling units. Departments are still under review. This will be on the agenda next week. Owl View Landing Phase 2 – Sawyer Lane; second phase of apartment complex – Departments are still under review. This will be on the agenda next week. Copper Mountain Headquarters – 31 Three Mile Dr; new office, catering, and retail – Departments still under review. This will be on the agenda next week. NEW BUSINESS: Kalispell Family Dental – 720 2nd St E; office remodel – New plans received with minor changes to the parking lot, Public Works will review. This will be on the agenda next week.
