To whom it may concern:
I have grave concerns about people gathering in Kalispell in large groups who are refusing to wear
masks. I understand a large group of people will storm the city council meeting tonight and
protest the mask mandate. This demonstration shows grave disregard about the welfare of others
and is inhumane and selfish.. I am writing to let you know that I oppose the opening of the NW
Montana Fair as the risk to our community is great. I oppose the presence of Anne Bukacek (who
I will not include the letters MD after her name) as a member of the Board of Health. She is a fear
monger and desires to inflict her religious beliefs on all of us. I oppose the forceful nature of the
self named “patriots” who will be non masked at your meeting tonight. Their activity is in direct
opposition to the government mandated safety ruling of face covering. Their arrogance that they
are above medical and scientific knowledge is appalling.
My question to you is what is the responsibility of the Board of Health, the Northwest Montana
Fair, and the Flathead County Commission when Annie Bukacek, member of the Board of Health,
is actively encouraging people to reject the governor’s mask mandate and the health
department’s recommendations? Who is to be held accountable if the spread of Covid 19 can be
traced to the members of this group of “anti maskers” and other innocent people of the
community become gravely ill or even die! Please stand up to these people and insist that if they
are to enter any governmental building or meeting that they, like all of us, follow governmental
mandated health measures.
Oh yes and please consider removal of Anne Bukacek from the Board of Health.
