Hello. I’m writing in regards to the meeting tonight about the safety and prudence of going forward with the fair in
Kalispell this summer.
Continuing to hold a large, social event during the rampant spread covid19 is asking for trouble. This event will
draw thousands of people from all over western Montana, encouraging them to mix and socialize when we know
that doing so is not safe because of the virus. With schools planning to open soon after, this is a recipe for disaster.
Please do not put residents and healthcare workers in the Flathead Valley at risk in this way. I strongly discourage
you to cancel the fair this year.
