Hi there,
In regards to the community meeting tonight about the fair - I am deeply concerned about the
fair taking place, it brings in tourists from all over the region and gathers locals at highnumbers in spaces where it is impossible to social distance. On top of that, many people eat
and drink throughout the day, which makes it much harder to maintain proper sanitation. As acounty we did such a good job at minimizing COVID cases until tourism ramped up. We must
limit unnecessary gatherings like this so that small businesses and schools can reopen and stayopen and hospitals can provide proper care to those that do get sick.
I care so much about this valley, the businesses, and the people. Please consider cancelling this
unnecessary event so we can look forward to next year.
