NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RESOLUTION NO. 4458
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN
THE 1998-99 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE HIGHWAY
TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANT.
WHEREAS, the annual appropriation for the Highway Traffic Safety
Grant is a State Grant received subsequent to the
adoption of the Fiscal 1999 budget, in accordance with
M.C.A. 7-6-4120, and
WHEREAS, the source .of funds is State money passed through the
Montana Department of Justice in the amount .of
$10,500.00, and
WHEREAS, the Kalispell Police Department is a recipient of a
Highway Traffic Safety Grant award, and
WHEREAS, said grant is revenue accruing to the City not
appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-4271, and
constitutes an overall increase in appropriate authority,
and
WHEREAS, the appropriate fund would be a General Revenue Fund,
1000, Highway Traffic Safety Grant with the appropriate
expenditure line item for purchase of traffic regulating
equipment by the Kalispell Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That on April 19th, 1999 at 7:00 o'clock P.M.,
in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
Kalispell, the City Council will hold a public
1611 hearing on appropriating funds pursuant to the
Highway Traffic Safety Grant in the amount of
$10,500.00 for the purchase of traffic
regulating equipment by the Kalispell Police
Department.
SECTION II. That notice of the passage of this resolution
shall be published pursuant to Section 7-1-
4127, MCA.
