RESOLUTION NO. —44 7--
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN
THE 1998-99 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS NOT PREVIOUSLY BUDGETED WITHIN THE WEST SIDE
URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AREA.
WHEREAS, the annual appropriation for the payment of expenditures
associated with the West Side Urban Renewal Area have
proven inaccurate because of the accrual of receipts
within the West Side Urban Renewal Area, and said
accruals were received subsequent to the adoption of the
Fiscal 1999 budget, in accordance with M.C.A. 7-6-4120,
and
WHEREAS, said accruals are revenue accruing to the City not
appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-4271, and
constitutes an overall increase in appropriate authority,
and
WHEREAS, the appropriate fund would be in Urban Renewal Funds,
2188, West Side Tak Increment, with the appropriate
expenditure line item for the purpose of financing
projects within the West Side Urban Renewal Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That on April 191h, 1999 at 7:00.orclock P.M.,
in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
Kalispell, the City Council will hold a public
hearing on appropriating funds financing
projects within the West Side Urban Renewal
Area.
SECTION II. That notice of the passage of this resolution
shall be published pursuant to Section 7-1-
4127, MCA.
