Subject: 2020 Road Construction Materials Testing City of Kalispell, Montana
Attention: Gene Corne
We are pleased to submit this proposal to provide quality control testing for the City of
Kalispell road construction projects. A list of the anticipated field and laboratory tests is included
with the attached schedule of fees.
The unit prices contained in the schedule of fees are firm quotes for the duration of the
project. Any additional requested laboratory tests will be performed in our Kalispell laboratory
under our standard unit price schedule for 2020. The total expense of testing is dependent upon the
number of field and laboratory samples tested and can best be determined by your estimating staff.
CMG Engineering, Inc. is a locally owned and operated full-service Construction Materials
and Geotechnical Engineering firm located in the Flathead Valley. CMG Engineering employs a
licensed professional engineer in the materials engineering disciplines. Our materials laboratory is
managed by a NICET level III certified engineering technician. Level III certifications are held in the
Soils, Portland Cement Concrete, and Asphaltic Concrete disciplines. Our Kalispell laboratory holds
accreditations per AASHTO R-18 which meets ASTM E 329-05, for various Portland Cement
Concrete, Asphaltic Concrete, Aggregates and Soils testing procedures.
We appreciate the opportunity to submit this proposal and we look forward to working with
you on this project.
Respectfully submitted,
