RESOLUTION NO. 4257
A RESOLUTION TO ALTER AND AMEND THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF
CONTRACT WITH A-1 PAVING ON THE WOODLAND COURT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City did, on November 15, 1995 enter into a
contract with A-1 Paving of 3131 Highway 2 East, Kalispell, Montana
for installation of utilities in accordance with the Woodland Court
Project; and
WHEREAS, upon the advice and recommendation of Thomas, Dean &
Hoskins, Inc., who is the City's consultant and engineer on said
project, certain changes and alterations of design and
specifications have been found necessary and advisable and in the
best interests of the City; and said changes and alterations could
not have been necessarily foreseeable when the original design and
specifications were prepared on this phase of the installation of
utilities on the Woodland Court Project, and said changes are
contained in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and are by this reference
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears in the best interests of the City to
approve said changes and alterations,
NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-5-
4308(1) MCA be it hereby resolved:
1. The alterations and modifications of the specifications
and plans of the contract between the City of Kalispell and A-1
Paving, dated February 5, 1996, as set out in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto, are hereby approved, and
2. As soon as the price to be paid for said alterations and
modifications are agreed to _.n writing, signed by the contractor,
as hereby approved by the Council, this approval, thereof shall be
in effect.

Current CONTRACT PRICE adjusted by previous CHANGE ORDER:$ 80,056.00
The CONTRACT PRICE due to this CHANGE ORDER will increase: $ 22,809.50
The new CONTRACT PRICE including this CHANGE ORDER will be $ 101865.500 .
CHANGE of CONTRACT TIME:
The CONTRACT TIME wf71 increase by 1212 days.
The date for completion of all work will be 42 days after the Ist day o Schedule III contract time.
