A RESOLUTION TO INITfATE AND IMPLEMENT A PILOT PROJECT IN A SPIRIT
OF COOPERATION WITH THE CITIES -COUNTY COOPERATION GROUP.
WHEREAS, community cooperation can help solve communities'
problems, and
WHEREAS, a Cities -County Cooperation Group was formed as a
result of the "Which Way Kalispell?" meeting on November 21, 1995,
and
WHEREAS, the action plan of that Group is to find a
demonstration program that all local governments in Flathead County
can effectively work on together to build trust, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of those local governing bodies to
act in a spirit of cooperation by carrying out a small pilot
project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as a first step toward this goal,
the cities and the county will initiate and implement an
intergovernmental program of office waste paper reduction and
recycling. .
