A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE
MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE
TREASURE STATE ENDOWMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell is applying to the Montana
Department of Commerce for financial assistance from the Treasure
State Endowment Program (TSEP) to construct and install a municipal
water well known as the North Side Water Well, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell has the legal jurisdiction and
authority to construct, finance, operate and maintain the North
Side Water Well, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell has held at least one
advertised public hearing in the area of the proposed TSEP project
to inform local citizens and affected property owners regarding the
components and projected costs of the proposed project, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kalispell agrees to comply with the
requirements described in the 1994-1995 TSEP Application
Guidelines, and
WHEREAS, Bruce Williams, City Manager, is authorized to submit
this- application to the Montana Department of Commerce, on behalf
of the City of Kalispell, to act on its behalf and to provide such
additional information as may be required.
