A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2000-2001 BUDGET ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SPECIAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #343.
WHEREAS, the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2001
fiscal year, did not contain any appropriation or
authorize expenditures for Special. Improvement District
#343, and
WHEREAS, the creation of Special Improvement District #343, the
award of a construction contract for the improvements
contemplated in Special Improvement District #343 and the
pending sale of bonds and receipt of the proceeds thereof
necessitate the creation of a budget appropriation and
expenditure line item for Special Improvement District
#343 for the 2001 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the revenue accruing to the City as a result of the sale
of bonds under Special Improvement District #343 is not
appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-4271, and
constitutes an overall increase in appropriation
authority, and
WHEREAS, the appropriate fund would be SID 343 Sunnyview Capital
Project Fund, 4343, with the appropriate expenditure line
items 4343-410-420140-354, 820, 822, 823, 950.
WHEREAS, On June 18, 2001 at 7:00 o`clock.P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, Kalispell, a public hearing was held
on appropriating funds from SID 343 Sunnyview Capital
Project Fund in the amount of $1,618,500.00 for the
purpose of funding infrastructure improvements connected
with SID #343.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the annual appropriation for the SID 343
Sunnyview Capital Project Fund is hereby
amended by allocating $1,618,500.00 for the
purpose of funding infrastructure improvements
connected with SID 343.
