RESOLUTION NO. 4626
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2000-2001 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THL
CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE U.S. #93
NORTH WATER BOND.'
WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the 2001
fiscal year, certain detailed and itemized estimates of
expenditures for installation of U.S. #93 North water Bond
have proven inaccurate in the operation of the said Water
Fund for the 2001 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the overall expenditures of the said water Fund are
currently not in excess of the total of such estimates of
expenditures adopted in the City's budget for the 2001
fiscal year, however, it does appear that the total of the
budgeted appropriations in said classification will exceed
such estimate for the balance of the 2001 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, Revenue bonds have been issued in the amount of $761,000.00.
Earlier estimates set the cost of the bonds at $660,000.00,
necessitating a $101,000.00 increase in appropriations, and
WHEREAS, said bond proceeds are revenue accruing to the City not
appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-4271, and constitutes
an overall increase in appropriation authority, and
WHEREAS, the appropriate fund would be a water Fund, 5220, with the
appropriate expenditure line item 5220-447-430550-950, and
WHEREAS, On June 18, 2001 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council
Chambers, City Hall, Kalispell, a public hearing was held
on appropriating funds from the Water Fund Revenue Bond
proceeds in the amount of $101, 000.00 for the purpose of
funding the increase in Revenue bonds issued.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the annual appropriation for the Water Fund
is hereby amended by allocating an additional
$101,000.00 from the Water Fund Revenue Bonds for
the purpose of funding the U.S. # 93 North Water
bond. -
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 18TH DAY OF JUNE, 2001.
