A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, AS SET FORTH IN THE 2001-02 BUDGET ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
DOWNTOWN URBAN RENEWAL DISTRICT FUND 2180.
WHEREAS, in the budget adopted by the City of Kalispell for the
2002 fiscal year, certain detailed and itemized estimates
of expenditures have proven inaccurate in the operation
of the said Fund for the 2002 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the overall expenditures of the said Fund are currently
not in excess of the total of such estimates of
expenditures adopted in the City's budget for the 2002
fiscal year, however, due to the sun -setting of the
district the City needs to appropriate all available
funds, and
WHEREAS, reserves available will have cash not appropriated and
said excess may be utilized, so that the respective
budget appropriations are not exceeded by expenditures,
and
WHEREAS, said reserves are revenue accruing to the City not
appropriated pursuant to Section 7-6-4271, and
constitutes an overall increase in appropriation
authority, and
WHEREAS, the appropriate account would be Fund 2180 Downtown Urban
Renewal District, with the appropriate expenditure line
item 2180-000-470230-840, redevelopment projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That on June 3, 2002 at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in
the Council Chambers, City Hall, Kalispell,
the City Council will hold a public hearing on
appropriating funds of the Downtown Urban
Renewal District in the amount of $185,328 for
the redevelopment line item.
