Ordinance 388 - Amends Ord 386 - Traffica-57.
ORDINANCE NO. 'L
An Ordinance amending Section 116 of Ordinance No. 386, entitled:
"An Ordinance providing for the regulation of traffic
on streets, alleys and avenues of the City of Kalispell, and
providing penalties for the violation of the provisions there-
of, and repealing Ordinance No. 377 and all other ordinances
and parts of ordinances in conflict therewith."
Passed by the City Council August 3rd, 1925; and declaring an
emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KAL7SPELL:
Section 1. That Section 116 of Ordinance No. 396 passed by
the City Council August 3rd, 1925, and entitled as aoove, be, and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 116. Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 A. M.,
no motor vehicle shall be parked continuously at any one place upon
any public highway of the City of Kalispell, within the inner fire
limits thereof, for a longer time than two hours; said inner fire
limits include that area bounded on the north by Railroad Street, on
the east by the Second alley East, on the south by Fourth Street, and
on the west by the second alley west, and in addition thereto that
area between Fourth and Fifth Streets bounded on the east by the first
alley east and on the west by the first alley west. The driver of any
vehicle standing at the curb in the congested district shall move away
from the curb at the request ofa police officer, such request to be
made by police officer when the occupant of the abutting property de-
sires to use the space occupied by such vehicle for loading or unload-
ing some commodity, and if the owner or driver of such vehicle be not
present;;the police officer may cause such vehicle to be moved.
Section 2. An urgency and emergency for this Ordinance is
hereby declared to and does exist, and the same shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage..
