ORDINANCE NO. 691
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DISTRIBUTION OF FLUID MILK PRODUCTS BY
DAIRIES WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA,
UNLESS LICENSED, PROVIDING A PENALTY, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any dairy to distribute fluid milk
products within the corporate limits of the City of Kalispell, Montana,
until said dairy shall have applied to the City Treasurer for a license
therefore, and such officer shall have issued such license, for which
there shall be paid a fee of $25.00. Such license shall be effective
until January 1 of the following year when it must be renewed.
Section 2. Any dairy violating the provisions of this ordinance shall
be subject to a fine of not more than $300.00.
Section 3. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect on January 1, 1963.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Kalispell, Montana, this
loth day of December, 1962.
