SUBJECT: Westside Interceptor Project— Schedule 1
Postpone Bid Action
MEETING: April 16, 2018
BACKGROUND: Schedule 1 of the Westside Interceptor Project includes the installation of
approximately 8,000 linear feet of 30 inch PVC sewer main, replacement of approximately 1,100
linear feet of 18 inch PVC sewer main, and replacement of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 8
inch PVC water main. The schedule also includes sanitary sewer manholes, sanitary sewer
service connections, water main service connections, fire hydrant assemblies, paved surface
restoration and landscape restoration. This is the first of five schedules to bid on the project.
Bids for the project will be opened on Thursday April 12, 2018. City staff requests additional
time to review the bids and references for a recommendation at the next council meeting.
ACTION REQUESTED: Postpone action for Schedule 1 of the Westside Interceptor Project
until the May 7, 2018 City Council Meeting.
