OLD BUSINESS:
DNRC / DEQ — Spring Prairie; new office building — They haven't done anything on their
subdivision. They will need a separate application for the 911 center. They will need a
latecomer's agreement for the sewer portion. This is a preliminary project. We need a
number of approvals from various city departments.
Spring Creek Apartments — 10 Appleway Dr; new apartments — They have adjusted the
setbacks. Some adjustments in their parking layout. The flood plain permit is almost ready to
issue. They will need to revise their FEMA application from a CLOMR-F to a LOMR-F to
meet their timing requirements. Floodplain permit will include a condition that they secure
the letter of map revision from FEMA. Drainage and some ROW improvement details are
pending. They are working with Paul on the bike path -- it won't fit on the back and decided
to drop it pending discussion with Paul. Culvert easement is shown as 15', but Public Works
has asked for a 20' easement. Fred will get this going. Sprinkler contractor is providing a
single fire department connection, but Ray isn't sure if that will work. Usually, they would be
required to have one for each building. They could possibly have them mounted in the front
of the building. Ray would prefer they have one for each building. They will meet with Ray
on this. Addressing will also be discussed with Fred in Public Works and Jeff in Building.
The travel distances have been taken care of. They can start placing the fill once their flood
plain permit is issued.
NEW BUSINESS:
None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS:
None.
OTHER REPORTS:
Montana Stone Gallery — is going into the old Glacier Gym — upgrades will be addressed.
Moving away from some points. Sidewalk will be taken care of. They will need to talk with
Chad about putting a tree in the circular mark. The sidewalk on Main Street is heaving up
and will need to be replaced. They City wants the driveway approach to go away.
Mednorth — Urgent Care Clinic. This project will be going in in front of Costco and next to
Grease Monkey with a shared access. They claim to have worked out their view corridor
issues with the developer. Susie needs to see their construction plans to verify that they are
hooking in correctly to the sewer. The building will be sprinklered.
Alpine Lighting — The Fire Department and Building issues regarding their upstairs ballroom
still need to be worked out. Information was submitted to Tom in order to keep everyone in
the loop.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
