OLD BUSINESS:
Mednorth — Spring Prairie; new urgent care clinic — in front of Costco. PJ noted that some investigating
was done on their property lines, one of which goes through the center of the drive through line of
McDonalds. This isn't a huge deal for the city but, if desired, the developer could secure an easement.
What does help is the setback issue which is now corrected. The remaining issues are drainage, which
they plan to get to Public Works this week. Atkinson asked for additional information on the layout for
Mednorth and access points which PJ provided. Fincher said he sent PJ a letter signing off on the
landscaping plans and he included they wanted to make sure they were using bark and not rock. PJ said
there were a few lighting issues that they were working on for him, and the fire sprinkler drawings
needed to be submitted. Goldberg is going to have to reduce the height by about 6 inches. PJ asked if the
committee was comfortable with conditionally approving the project and everyone agreed.
Susie Turner noted she received an email from Jean Crow of DNRC requesting that DNRC be involved
in all of the lease agreements on Section 36. Turner agreed to contact Crow to determine exactly when
the city should contact her.
