BACKGROUND: The resignation of Steve Lorch on the city Planning Board has created an
opening for a term expiring April 30, 2019.
Three applicants recently applied for positions on the Planning Board.
RECOMMENDATION: Mayor Johnson provides a recommendation for appointment
followed by a motion from Council confirming the Mayoral appointment.

As mentioned, f was fortunate enough to be raised in Kalispell. I have INed and worked in the downtown cornmun ity
since 2014. 1 believe that I could provide a unique perspective to the Planning Board as a licensed Realtor and
performing arts grad uate (U M-Missoula,13FA Theatre cum laude, May 2012 )- Restoring historic spaces and vibrantly
rej uvenabng Kalispell with infill development is something I am invested in currently and for years to come. Kalispell will
continue to attract new residents and 1 wi 11 be imports rrt to have the right people in place helping with the fast {raced
growth. I believe that I am one of those people who has the desire and ability to help guide the future of our city through
the work of the Planning Board -
