SUBJECT: South Kalispell Traffic Impact Study RFQ Selection
MEETING DATE: January 16, 2018
BACKGROUND: The City of Kalispell prepared and advertised a Request for Qualifications
soliciting a qualified professional consulting engineer to provide professional engineering services
for completion of intersection improvements at 131h Street & Airport Road and intersection
improvements at 18'h Street and Airport Road. Four firms responded to the request for
qualifications and a five -member committee reviewed the statements of qualifications and
recommends WGM Group to provide professional engineering services for this traffic impact
study.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council approve the selection of WGM
Group.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Funding for this contract will come from the South Kalispell/Airport TIF
District.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested and approved by Council.
