OLD BUSINESS:
Great Northern Dental — 85 Village Loop; new office. Public Works is still waiting on the
resubmittal. They will begin working again on the amended plat. This will be on the agenda for next
week.
Spring Prairie 4 (Shops 2) — 2244 Hwy 93 N; new tenant space. Public Works is still waiting for a
resubmittal to reflect their first round of comments. This is one where they are planning on having a
complete set of revised, final plans that will be coming in. They are still discussing whether or not
there is a sidewalk required. Per our records, it is required. This will be on the agenda for next week.
REI — This will be going in between Hobby Lobby and Home Goods. Tabler is still waiting for some
additional materials. This will be on the agenda next week.
Town Pump (south) — They did some PUD work this spring. They will need to bind the two parcels
together. They did get a landscape plan in. The only review right now is with the canopy and ROW
improvements. Tabler stated Public Works provided them with the geometries so they have the road
pretty much how we want it. They will need to add some parking. Freyholtz has no issues with this.
This will be on the agenda for next week.
Turning Point Dance Studio —1322 Whitefish Stage; change of use and parking lot. They will be
upgrading the front area for the parking and landscaping. The basement is primarily what is being
redone. There is a residential use upstairs. Parker is working with them regarding the sidewalk
extending to the basement entrance. The committee passed this through Site Review subject to Parks
approval.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: January Agenda
Village Greens — Group home for Alzheimer patients looking to annex in. Haskins is working with
them on the sewer connection. It is only a 2" force main. They will be working with WGM
Engineering.
Appleway — A 4-plex will be coming in for a conditional use permit.
Southside Estates — Phase 2. This is a 10-acre piece just east of Southside, west of the new
Elementary School. They are coming in for a preliminary plat.
Begg Property/Spokane Development Team — This project is for 324 multi -family apartments off
of Two Mile Drive. This will be built in 3 phases with 108 units in each phase. They went before the
Planning Board for a CUP, zoning, annexation and RA-2 zoning. This was continued to the January
meeting so the board could be provided with more traffic data. They also need to provide the board
with some clear answers on how the storm water will be handled. A neighbor in the area also asked
for crime data.
RV Park and Cabins — along the river by the "Rails to Trails" trail. This is next to the Turners'
property, north of Willow Creek where the old mill used to be. Freyholtz stated MDT was contacted
by a resident in that area. Freyholtz is interested in long-term access and approaches. Discussion was
held.
OTHER REPORTS:
Bloomstone, Phase II — P. Jentz noted that Public Works has received their next round of comments
on this project.
