KALISPELL PARKING COMMISSION

And Bill Goodman arriving at 8:07 am. Mark Pirrie not present.

1. Call to Order:

2. Minutes of November, 2007 Board Meeting:
Moved to approve by John Hinchey, Janet Clark seconds, Approved by all present.
3. Hearing of the Public:
No One Present
4. Financial Statement of November 2007:
Moved to approve financials John Hinchey, Joel Schoknect seconds. Approved by all
present.
S. Updates from KPC office:
Tickets, Parking Permits & Meters — See Reports.
Notices — November finished. December notices in progress.
Summons — Currently only one. Chuck Olson — as per last meetings discussion papers
were sent to his office. They have not returned yet.
Collections & Garnishments — Continue to bring in money and close outstanding cases.
DMV/MT GOV — Still logging into DMV directly, set up to use MT.GOV website if needed.
Meter Project — Continuing work in progress
KPC Christmas Enforcement — KPC will not be ticketing the streets from December 17-
January 1, 2008. But we will be monitoring the lots.
6. Unfinished Business:
Valley Bank — No new information
Fire Department parking — No new information
4 Seasons — Lot maintenance bill — We received a new invoice for $3700 and we paid it.
Front Computer— Rachel will get a quote from Ericka for replacement computer for front.
New Computer — Ericka working on installing windows software package.
Summons Vs. Collections — Summons takes more time on Rachel's part. Rachel
contacted Michael our account representative and it would be no problem to have
collections reported to credit reports. Discussion followed. Rachel will find out if the
court has their collections reported to their credit reports. She will also contact Michael
at CPI to find out if we can put a limit of 3 tickets under one account before it is
reported on their credit report. Issue tabled again till January meeting.

7. New Business:
Glacier Bank Street Parking — John Hinchey asked what happened to the crosswalk. We
have lost 2 parking spaces due to the bulb outs at each end. This was negotiated
through the city and possibly through M-Dot.

meet the needs of downtown's customers, employees, visitors, and residents.
